CARE Moro
Hi Everyone,
My name is Moro.
First of all I want to thank everyone for my new home and all the good food you’ve been bringing me. Up to now, my life hasn’t been real great. Someone tried to help me a couple of years ago…she tried, but it got out of her hands. Then I hoped my new owner would be good but I’m kind of a fragile horse (I had a hurt leg) and even then they rode me too hard with heavy men and my leg got broken.
(When a horse-that’s what I am!- breaks a leg, it is very difficult to repair and to heal correctly. My leg got to where I can put a little weight on it, but I’ll never be able to be ridden or run again. I’ve become very very skinny because the other horses were being bullies and picking on me. The mama horses wanted what food there was so they could make milk for their babies and the other boy horse picked on me because he could. I think he thought of I gained weight I’d be better looking them him …and I am!!!!!!!)
Now let’s talk about the present and how lucky I am. I’m getting a lot of new friends every day. Every morning when I wake up I now get this wonderful feeling in my body. I think it’s what you humans call being happy and loved. I can’t wait to get nice and fat with all this wonderful food you all are giving me so you can see what a handsome gentleman I am. I want to tell you all that I may not talk a lot but when I do I’m saying ‘Thank you for loving me…thank you for being my friends….thank you for your hugs and kisses” and when you look at my big beautiful brown eyes, I’m looking back at your with my love for you and saying “Thank you, thank you a thousand times thank you.”

P.S. Keep the veggies coming. They are so good and so good for me.
P.P.S. The vet came today and he said I can live for 10 more years if people take care of me. Isn’t that wonderful?
